System Administrator, Senior Software Engineer
Perfect Order, Inc. (March 2001 – Present)My current position allocates half of my time as a System Administrator consultant to provide solutions for Perfect Order's enterprise customers. Most of this work is done on short term consulting engagements. The solutions I provide are: designing and implementing Mail, LDAP and Web service architectures. I also analyze and make recommendations for managing the configuration and monitoring of enterprise servers. The remainder of my time is spent as team lead for the Systems Navigator (www.sysnav.com) development project using on-site consulting experience. This product automates the management of server configurations in the enterprise for medium to large scale data centers. Additional supporting tasks include defining requirements, and design for future releases. Responsible for development of Cfengine, Shell and PHP scripts. I provide additional product support, including integration, deployment and maintanence of Systems Navigator.
Consultant
University of Oklahoma (March 2002 – December 2002, July 2003 – October 2003)Engaged as a consultant to aid in the implementation of Systems Navigator. Implemented systems monitoring and configured a standard operating environment (SOE), via SysNav. Assisted in the mail migration project from SIMS to Sun ONE, focusing on moving all the LDAP accounts and mailboxes. Played key role as a technical adviser in several newly initiated projects. Wrote a strategy for implementing best practices and improving availability and uptime for the CIO.

Packet Pushers (January 2000 – March 2001)Lead programmer on various development projects. Primary engineer on a web hosting system that allows users to a control all aspects of web hosting. Managed open source development of larrd, which is a metric trending tool for UNIX operating systems.
